Social Media Operations Lead (Execution + Systems)

Location: Hybrid [ 2x WFO from we work ]

Role Overview

We're looking for a self-driven Social Media Operations Lead who can independently manage social media execution end-to-end from content calendars to posting, edits, reporting, and systems.

Our core content frameworks and formats are already built. This role requires working holistically within existing content systems, refining and optimising them where required, and ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across platforms.

This is an execution-first, low-handholding role, ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, structure, and calm operations for someone looking to be a part of impact-driven work that drives change & real engagement, not just make aesthetic posts for likes.

Key ResponsibilitiesContent Systems & Calendar Management

  • Work within existing content frameworks and formats
  • Build and manage weekly/monthly content calendars
  • Adapt captions across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts)
  • Ensure consistency in tone, format, and publishing cadence

Execution & Posting

  • Schedule and publish content across platforms
  • Manage comments, DMs, and basic community engagement
  • Ensure timely posting and smooth day-to-day operations

Editing & Production

  • Create Canva carousels and static creatives
  • Edit short-form videos using CapCut
  • Maintain quality control across all published content

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track weekly performance (reach, engagement, saves, growth)
  • Maintain reporting trackers on Google Sheets
  • Identify patterns, gaps, and content improvements

Operations & Organisation

  • Organise content and assets on Google Drive
  • Maintain trackers for content, posting, and performance
  • Close feedback loops asynchronously with the founder

Team & Support

This is a hands-on execution role.

Additional editing support via interns may be introduced within 23 months, based on workflow requirements and content volume. Until then, comfort with independent execution and editing is essential.

Must-Have Skills

  • Advanced Canva (carousels, layouts, visual consistency)
  • Confident Filmora/VN editing for short-form video
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, Youtube & LinkedIn content [i.e. long & short form ]
  • Comfortable with tech and Ai [ Google Workspace, Gemini Notes, AI video generation, Notion, Slack, Perplexity, Claude, Sora ]
  • Experience managing social media accounts independently and effectively. You thrive on growth & ownership.
  • Experience with SM automation tools like HootSuite, Manychat, Tally, Notion
  • Folders of different video styles, formats, storytelling ideas just because you love communication.
