Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern with a strong interest in content creation, graphic design, video editing, social media management, and basic SEO. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys visual storytelling, understands social media trends, and wants hands-on exposure to building a B2B technology brand.
The intern will work closely with the marketing team to create engaging content, manage social media presence, support SEO initiatives, and contribute to digital brand-building activities.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Creation
- Plan, create, and schedule content for social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
- Write engaging captions, hashtags, and post descriptions aligned with brand tone.
- Stay updated with social media trends, reels, shorts, and emerging content formats.
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and assist in community management.
- Contribute creative ideas for social media campaigns and brand awareness initiatives.
Graphic Design & Video Editing
- Design creatives for social media posts, banners, posters, presentations, and marketing collaterals.
- Create and edit reels, shorts, product explainers, and promotional videos.
- Assist in maintaining brand consistency across all visual assets.
- Support content creation for events, exhibitions, and product launches.
SEO & Digital Content Support
- Assist in creating SEO-friendly content for social media, blogs, and website updates.
- Support basic keyword research and content optimization activities.
- Help improve content visibility through relevant keywords, hashtags, and trend analysis.
- Assist in tracking content performance and engagement metrics.
Collaboration & Learning
- Work closely with Product, Sales, and Engineering teams to understand products and translate them into engaging content.
- Contribute creative ideas for campaigns, product launches, and brand storytelling.
- Stay updated on digital marketing, AI, automation, and industry trends.
Requirements
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media, Design, Journalism, or a related field.
- Basic to good knowledge of social media management, graphic design, and video editing.
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, CapCut, After Effects, or equivalent tools.
- Understanding of major social media platforms and content formats.
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts and content optimization.
- Creative mindset with good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Preferred (Good to Have)
- Experience managing personal, college, freelance, or internship social media projects.
- Familiarity with Figma, motion graphics, or animation tools.
- Basic knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or keyword research tools.
- Interest in B2B marketing, industrial technology, or AI-based products.
