About the Role

F5 Events and Services is looking for a Social Media Head who has grown inside a social media agency environment and understands how to manage brands, teams, and outcomes, not just posts.

This role is for someone who can own strategy, execution quality, team output, and client confidence, especially for event-driven, fast-moving brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end social media strategy for F5 Events and client brands
  • Lead planning, calendars, campaigns, and execution across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
  • Manage and mentor a team of social media managers, designers, and copywriters
  • Review and improve content quality, tone, visuals, and performance consistency
  • Coordinate closely with event teams to capture, plan, and amplify on-ground moments
  • Ensure timely delivery of content, campaigns, and reports as per agency timelines
  • Track performance metrics and translate insights into actionable improvements
  • Act as the primary point of contact for social media-related client communication
  • Stay updated with platform trends, formats, and best practices

Mandatory Requirements

  • 4 to 7 years of experience purely in a social media agency setup
  • Proven experience handling multiple brands simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of content strategy, platform behavior, and audience growth
  • Experience managing teams and agency-style workflows
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, service business
  • Willingness to work from office, 6 days a week, in Sahakar Nagar, Bangalore

Preferred Skills
  • Experience working with event, lifestyle, brand, or service-based clients
  • Strong content judgment and creative direction ability
  • Clear communication and client-handling confidence
  • Hands-on mindset. This is a leadership role, but not a hands-off one
