Position: Social Media Marketing Intern

Duration: 4 months

Location: Remote

Stipend: 30,000 per month

Your Mission (Why You Matter):

We need someone who can spark conversations, grow our online presence, and help us convert followers into trial users. You'll be the voice of PromptCue on social and the first point of contact for anyone interested in trying our platform.

What You'll Do

Content Creation & Community Building

  • Develop and curate engaging posts for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twittergraphics, short videos, and written copy.
  • Research AI, SaaS, and edtech trends to craft relevant content (memes, mini-tutorials, case snapshots).
  • Monitor daily engagement (comments, DMs), respond to questions or feedback within 24 hours.

Growth & Lead Generation

  • Design and manage small-budget ad campaigns on Meta or LinkedIn aimed at driving free trial sign-ups (e.g., A/B test two ad creatives each month).
  • Create compelling CTAs (e.g., Claim Your Free AI Agent Demo) that link directly to our onboarding landing page.
  • Build and segment our social email list (e.g., download an ebook or join a newsletter), tracking leads in HubSpot (or Mailchimp).

Customer Engagement & Light Outreach

  • Field inquiries from social, email, or phone about the product. Use a shared template to qualify interest (Are you exploring AI for personal use, small team, or enterprise).
  • Hand off marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) to our Sales team or schedule short Intro to PromptCue calls if needed.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Track social metrics weekly (follower growth, engagement rate, click-through rate, trial sign-ups attributed to social).
  • Create concise monthly performance reports: what worked, what didn't, and recommendations for the next cycle.

Ideation & Collaboration

  • Brainstorm 23 social growth experiments per quarter (e.g., Twitter Spaces chat with an AI influencer, Instagram giveaway of 1 month free).
  • Collaborate with designers (or use Canva/Figma) to produce on-brand visuals.
  • Work closely with the marketing lead to refine our messaging and positioning.

Who Are You

  • Recent Graduate: Bachelor's in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Social Media Junkie: You know the latest TikTok challenges, X/Threads best practices, and what goes viral in the SaaS/AI world.
  • Basic Ad-Campaign Know-How: Familiarity with Facebook Ads Manager or LinkedIn Campaign Manager is a plus.
  • Strong Communicator: Excellent written (English) and verbal (English/Hindi) skills. You can tailor tone to different audiences (technical vs. non-technical).
  • Analytical & Curious: Comfortable reading basic analytics dashboards (e.g., Facebook Insights, Google Analytics) and drawing actionable insights.
  • Sales-Oriented Mindset: You can ask qualifying questions, recognize buying intent, and understand how to move a user from curious to trial user.
  • Creative & Resourceful: You can whip up a quick Canva graphic and aren't afraid to propose off-the-wall ideas (Let's host an AI chatbot demo in a local co-working space next month).

Nice-To-Haves

  • Experience with HubSpot (or Mailchimp) for list management and email drip campaigns.
  • Familiarity with basic video editing tools (e.g., iMovie, Premiere Rush).
  • Understanding of SEO basics (e.g., optimizing LinkedIn posts, using relevant hashtags).
