We're Hiring: Social Media Growth Manager (Instagram-First)

Location: G401, Galada Towers, Begumpet, Secunderabad

Work Mode: Work from Office (MonFri) | Saturday WFH

Experience: Agency / Multi-brand experience preferred

This is NOT a post-and-forget social media role.

At Degefy, we manage multiple brandslargely Doctors & Surgeonswho rely on Instagram not just for presence, but for trust, recall, leads, and business growth.

We're looking for a Social Media Growth Manager who can think fast, execute faster, and take complete ownership of Instagram growth end-to-end.

What You'll Actually Do at Degefy

This is a hands-on thinking + execution role. You'll be expected to ideate, manage, and move things forwardevery single day.

Instagram & Content Growth

Ideate high-performing reel concepts with strong hooks (the first 3 seconds matter)

Spot and adapt trends earlyaudios, formats, hooksbefore they get saturated

Create brand-specific story flows (not generic stories) using polls, emojis, and soft CTAs

Understand what to pushviews, saves, DMs, profile visitsand why

AI-Powered Speed

Use ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other AI tools to:

Generate multiple hook variations

Rewrite captions in different tones (educational, human, humorous)

Analyse why content performsor doesn't

Use AI as a thinking and speed assistant, not a copy-paste shortcut

Execution & Team Coordination

Translate client briefs into clear tasks for designers, editors, and writers

Coordinate daily with the internal team to ensure fast turnaround

Prioritise multiple brands without chaos

Review creatives for logic, placement, and clarity (basic design sense required)

Growth & Engagement

Drive DM-led growth using tools like Linktree and automation flows

Actively engage with followers on client and Degefy accounts

Track performance and share clear weekly and monthly insights with clients

On-Ground & Real Content

Visit client locations when required

Shoot phone-based photos, videos, reels, and BTS content

Think real > perfect

Who We're Looking For (Non-Negotiable)

You are:

Internet-native (you live on Instagram, not just use it)

Comfortable handling 510 brands with different tones and goals

Fast, curious, and slightly opinionated

Able to explain why a reel will worknot just say that it will

A people person who gets things done without constant follow-ups

You already understand:

Trial reels, remix logic, and reel link placement

Why hashtags are mostly dead

Emoji-first stories and engagement mechanics

How Instagram updates actually impact reach and visibility

Tools & Skills You Should Have

Strong understanding of Instagram content and growth mechanics

Canva (basic but confident)

Google Drive and collaborative workflows

Data sense (views, retention, saves, DMsnot vanity metrics)

Willingness and ability to learn new tools quickly, especially AI
