Job Title: Social Media Growth Manager

Location: Ahmedabad (On-site Only)

Employment Type: Full-time

Work Schedule: 6 Days a Week

Engagement Type: Full-time Role (No Freelancing / No Part-time)

We are hiring a Social Media Growth Manager to take complete ownership of our social media presence and drive measurable growth.

Role Overview

This role is responsible for managing and scaling our social media operations end-to-end. The candidate will be accountable for content strategy, execution, engagement, and performance outcomes.

This is a full ownership role. The expectation is to manage social media like a business function, not just content posting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and execute growth strategies across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube)
  • Plan and manage a structured monthly content calendar
  • Identify trends, viral formats, and content opportunities
  • Conduct competitor analysis and performance benchmarking

2. Content Research & Planning

  • Perform daily research on trending and high-performing content
  • Generate content ideas (reels, posts, carousels, stories)
  • Write hooks, captions, and scripts aligned with brand positioning

3. Content Execution & Coordination

  • Coordinate with designers, editors, and creators for content production
  • Plan and manage content shoots where required
  • Ensure timely publishing as per schedule
  • Maintain brand consistency across all content

4. Community Management

  • Manage comments, direct messages, and audience interactions
  • Drive engagement through active communication
  • Monitor feedback and audience sentiment

5. Performance Tracking & Optimization

  • Track performance of all content and campaigns
  • Identify high-performing formats and optimize accordingly
  • Conduct A/B testing (hooks, formats, timing)
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports

6. Budgeting & ROI Management

  • Plan and allocate budgets for content, influencers, and promotions
  • Track cost per engagement, cost per follower, and ROI
  • Ensure all activities are measurable and performance-driven

7. Influencer & Collaboration Management

  • Identify relevant influencers and partnership opportunities
  • Execute collaborations and track results

Daily

  • 12 short-form videos (Reels / Shorts)
  • Stories and engagement activities
  • Comment and DM management

Weekly

  • 57 content pieces (mixed formats)
  • Trend and competitor analysis
  • Performance summary

Monthly

  • Growth report (followers, reach, engagement)
  • ROI report (campaign-wise performance)
  • Next month content and growth plan

Growth

  • Follower growth rate (month-on-month)
  • Reach and impressions growth

Engagement

  • Engagement rate
  • Saves, shares, comments per post
  • Average watch time

Content Performance

  • % of high-performing / viral content
  • Retention rate (initial seconds)

Financial

  • Cost per engagement (CPE)
  • Cost per follower (CPF)
  • Campaign ROI

Execution

  • Adherence to content calendar
  • Content delivery vs planned output

Candidate Requirements

Mandatory

  • Proven experience in growing social media accounts (with measurable results)
  • Strong understanding of short-form content and platform algorithms
  • Data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Ability to execute consistently with ownership mindset

Preferred

  • Experience scaling personal or brand social media accounts from scratch with measurable growth outcomes
  • Strong content writing skills with ability to create high-converting hooks, captions, and scripts
  • Experience in content performance analysis and deriving actionable insights
  • Ability to leverage AI tools to build customer-centric content frameworks and systems that improve productivity, consistency, and engagement
  • Experience with D2C / e-commerce brands
  • Basic understanding of video production and editing workflows
  • Experience managing influencer collaborations

Important Conditions

  • This is a full-time, on-site role in Ahmedabad
  • 6-day working week is mandatory
  • Freelancers and part-time applicants will not be considered
