Job Description

Primary Job Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Manage and maintain all social media platforms
  • Plan, schedule, and publish daily posts, reels, stories, and campaigns
  • Ensure consistency in brand voice, messaging, and visual identity
  • Respond to comments, messages, and queries

Content Creation & Creativity

  • Ideate and create engaging content including:
  • Static posts (carousels, infographics)
  • Reels and short videos
  • Stories and interactive content
  • Write compelling captions, hooks, and scripts
  • Bring innovative ideas for campaigns, trends, and storytelling

Campaign Planning & Execution

  • Design and execute social media campaigns for:
  • Awareness drives
  • Events and initiatives
  • Educational and social impact content
  • Collaborate with internal teams for content alignment

Performance Tracking & Optimization

  • Monitor key performance metrics (reach, engagement, followers, conversions)
  • Analyze insights and improve content strategy accordingly
  • Stay updated with algorithm changes and trends

Major KRAs

  • Audience Growth: Consistent increase in followers and reach across platforms
  • Engagement Performance: Improvement in engagement rate, saves, shares, and comments
  • Content Quality: Timely delivery of high-quality, on-brand content and campaigns
  • Insights & Reporting: Accurate weekly/monthly reports with actionable insights
  • Brand Consistency: Uniform tone, messaging, and visual identity across platforms

Core Skills

Specific Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and algorithms
  • Excellent content writing and copywriting skills
  • Creative thinking with a strong visual sense
  • Basic knowledge of design tools (Canva, Photoshop, etc.)
  • Video editing skills (Reels/Shorts editing tools like Premiere Pro, CapCut, etc.)

Creative Skills

  • Ability to ideate unique and engaging content
  • Strong storytelling and scriptwriting ability
  • Understanding of audience psychology and engagement techniques
  • Eye for design, aesthetics, and layout

Qualification And Experience

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field

Preferred Qualification

  • Master's degree or certification in Digital Marketing / Social Media Marketing
  • Experience in handling educational/social impact platforms (preferred)

Minimum Experience

  • 1 - 3 Years
