Role Overview
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Social Media Executive who can support and execute end-to-end social media operations - from planning calendars and coordinating shoots to driving engagement and analyzing performance.
This is a hands-on execution role ideal for someone who understands Instagram deeply, thrives in fast-paced environments, and takes ownership of timelines and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Management & Engagement
- Prepare a detailed monthly Instagram calendar (with references, hooks, and design direction), along with YouTube & Pinterest calendars.
- Write strong, brand-aligned captions and copies.
- Actively manage Instagram DMs and comments to improve response time and engagement.
- Maintain posting consistency to support algorithm growth.
- Track weekly engagement metrics and share monthly performance insights with improvement actions.
- Ensure growth in engagement rate, saves, shares, reach and overall platform performance.
2. Shoot Planning & Execution
- Assist in planning and executing e-commerce, lifestyle, performance marketing and social shoots.
- Create structured call sheets and ensure smooth coordination across teams.
- Manage logistics including product sourcing, styling and scheduling.
- Ensure shoots are executed on time, within budget, and aligned to brand aesthetics.
- Maintain high productivity on shoot days with minimal delays.
3. Creative & Competitive Tracking
- Track competitor content and ads (Instagram + Facebook Ads Library) to identify trends.
- Suggest and implement fresh, value-driven content ideas weekly.
- Review content edits and ensure visual consistency across organic and paid channels.
- Use performance data to suggest content improvements and pivots.
- Ensure steady improvement in content quality and performance month-on-month.
4. Content & Asset Management
- Organize and upload all shoot content to Drive in a structured format.
- Maintain a database of models, photographers, and production partners.
- Oversee UGC coordination and quality control.
- Update shoppable videos on the website regularly.
- Share product and styling feedback with the design team based on shoot learnings.
- Ensure fresh content output on a weekly basis.
5. Post-Production & Timelines
- Coordinate with editors and designers to ensure timely delivery of content.
- Ensure post-production timelines are met without compromising quality.
- Take accountability for publishing readiness and deadline adherence.
Ideal Candidate
- 12 years experience in social media or content execution.
- Strong understanding of Instagram trends and short-form content.
- Organized, detail-oriented and able to multitask.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong ownership mindset and follow-through ability.
