Job Summary:
The Social Media & Content Expert will be responsible for creating compelling and engaging content across various platforms to build brand awareness, drive audience engagement and support marketing initiatives. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker with a strong understanding of social media trends, content marketing best practices, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced entertainment environment.
Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management:
- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube etc).
- Create and schedule engaging social media content, including text posts, images, videos and stories.
- Monitor social media trends, competitor activity and audience feedback to optimize content and engagement.
- Manage social media communities, responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and provide regular reports on key insights and recommendations.
- Content Creation:
- Write compelling and informative content for various platforms, including blog posts, website copy, newsletters, captions and marketing materials.
- Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all content.
- Conduct thorough research on industry trends and topics to create high-quality, relevant content.
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop content strategies and campaigns.
- Create engaging video scripts and assist in the production of video content.
- Content Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely content delivery.
- Brainstorm and pitch creative content ideas that align with the company's brand and goals.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest content marketing and social media trends.
- Optimize content for SEO.
- Community Engagement:
- Encourage and build a strong online community.
- Interact with fans and followers in a way that promotes brand loyalty.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
- Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
- Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent understanding of social media platforms and trends.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Passion for the entertainment industry.
- Experience with SEO best practices.
- Video editing and production experience is a plus.
