Job Summary:

The Social Media & Content Expert will be responsible for creating compelling and engaging content across various platforms to build brand awareness, drive audience engagement and support marketing initiatives. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker with a strong understanding of social media trends, content marketing best practices, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced entertainment environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management:
  • Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube etc).
  • Create and schedule engaging social media content, including text posts, images, videos and stories.
  • Monitor social media trends, competitor activity and audience feedback to optimize content and engagement.
  • Manage social media communities, responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Analyze social media performance metrics and provide regular reports on key insights and recommendations.

  • Content Creation:
  • Write compelling and informative content for various platforms, including blog posts, website copy, newsletters, captions and marketing materials.
  • Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all content.
  • Conduct thorough research on industry trends and topics to create high-quality, relevant content.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop content strategies and campaigns.
  • Create engaging video scripts and assist in the production of video content.

  • Content Strategy & Planning:
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely content delivery.
  • Brainstorm and pitch creative content ideas that align with the company's brand and goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest content marketing and social media trends.
  • Optimize content for SEO.

  • Community Engagement:
  • Encourage and build a strong online community.
  • Interact with fans and followers in a way that promotes brand loyalty.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
  • Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent understanding of social media platforms and trends.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Passion for the entertainment industry.
  • Experience with SEO best practices.
  • Video editing and production experience is a plus.

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with graphic design principles and tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Experience with video editing software.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices.
  • A strong understanding of the companies target demographic.
