Role Description The Social Media Content Creator is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role involves planning, creating, and publishing engaging content across social media platforms, including posts, short-form videos, stories, and reels that align with client brand guidelines and marketing objectives. The Social Media Content Creator will collaborate with designers, marketers, and account managers to develop content calendars, support campaign concepts, and adapt content to different platforms and audiences. Daily responsibilities include researching trends, generating ideas, writing captions, optimizing content for reach and engagement, and monitoring performance to suggest improvements. The role also includes basic community management, such as responding to comments and messages in coordination with the broader team.

Qualifications

  • Ability to develop and execute social media content strategies, including planning content calendars and aligning posts with broader marketing campaigns.
  • Strong skills in content creation, including writing clear and engaging captions, scripting short-form videos, and adapting messaging for various platforms. Also acting in the reels whenever needed
  • Experience with visual and multimedia content, such as basic photo and video editing, familiarity with design tools (e.g.,Capcut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc), and understanding of platform-specific formats.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and analytics, including experience using insights and metrics to refine content and improve engagement.
  • Strong research skills to identify trends, audience interests, and competitor activity, and to generate fresh, relevant content ideas.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work closely with marketing, design, and client-facing teams on-site.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and content projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Guide client and editor to bring the idea to live based on the research
  • Prior experience in social media content creation, digital marketing, or a related field; agency or startup experience is an advantage.
  • Relevant education in Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
