About the role

We're looking for a Social Media & Content Specialist who can turn complex B2B topics into clear, scroll-stopping stories. This role sits within Marketing and focuses on social media (primarily LinkedIn) plus short- to mid-form content that supports campaigns, launches, and sales.

You will:

  • Own our social media presence (with a strong LinkedIn focus) from content ideas and copy to publishing and performance tracking.
  • Write thumb-stopping copy: hooks, captions, post copy, carousels text, short threads, polls, etc.
  • Repurpose existing assets (webinars, case studies, blogs, decks) into social-first content.
  • Support campaigns with content pieces: email copy, landing page snippets, nurture sequences, event promos.
  • Build and manage a simple content calendar aligned with launches, campaigns, and sales priorities.
  • Collaborate with design for creatives; be comfortable giving clear, simple briefs (and sometimes using Canva/Figma for quick edits).
  • Monitor performance (impressions, engagement, clicks, demo interest) and regularly suggest improvements based on data.
  • Keep a pulse on trends in B2B SaaS + LinkedIn content and adapt formats that make sense for our brand.

You are a good fit if you:

  • Have 25 years experience in social media / content marketing (B2B preferred; SaaS/tech/health considered a strong plus).
  • Can show a portfolio: LinkedIn posts, carousels, emailers, blogs, or campaign copy you've written.
  • Are genuinely comfortable writing you enjoy turning vague ideas into clear, tight copy.
  • Understand how social content connects to pipeline (not just awareness).
  • Are organised enough to run a basic calendar and follow through without being micromanaged.
  • Are curious about complex domains (regulatory, healthcare, compliance, tech) and not scared of jargonyou can simplify it.

Nice to have (but not mandatory):

  • Experience in life sciences, pharma, regulatory, med-tech, or B2B compliance tools
  • Hands-on familiarity with HubSpot / marketing automation, or any social scheduling/analytics tool
  • Comfort with basic video (ideas for reels/shorts, simple edits, or directing others)
