About 11 Ouest

At 11 Ouest, we are bespoke storytellers, digital artisans, and retail experts. As a creative marketing agency, we've established ourselves as specialists in crafting campaigns and brand experiences for shopping centres, retail destinations, and lifestyle brands. We believe in delving into the essence of each brand to create narratives that resonate - not just through campaigns, but through unforgettable experiences.

The Role

We're looking for a meticulous and proactive Social Media Manager to become the primary custodian of our clients digital presence. You'll be the heartbeat of day-to-day social media operations - the person clients trust, the team relies on, and the one who ensures every post, comment, and message reflects the brand perfectly.

What You'll Do

Client Management & Coordination

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong relationships built on trust and reliability
  • Conduct regular check-ins, status updates, and review sessions with clients
  • Translate client vision and feedback into actionable social media plans
  • Manage expectations, timelines, and deliverables across multiple accounts
  • Coordinate with internal copywriters and designers to brief requirements and ensure alignment with client goals
  • Present social media plans, calendars, and performance reports to clients
  • Maintain seamless communication with creative teams (including on Saturdays when working from home) to keep projects on track

Content Planning & Execution

  • Develop comprehensive monthly content calendars that align with client objectives and brand narratives
  • Coordinate with copywriters and designers to ensure content is created on schedule
  • Review all content for brand consistency, accuracy, and quality before approval
  • Schedule and publish content across social media platforms
  • Ensure all posts adhere to platform specifications and best practices

Content Shooting & Production

  • Plan and execute social media content shoots at client locations, events, and activations
  • Capture authentic, engaging photos and videos that tell compelling brand stories
  • Coordinate shoot logistics including timing, location access, and any required permissions
  • Direct on-ground content creation during events, openings, and special occasions
  • Ensure shot lists are comprehensive and aligned with content calendar needs
  • Manage content assets and maintain organized libraries for easy access

Community Management

  • Monitor all client social media channels daily for comments, messages, and mentions
  • Respond to DMs and comments promptly with appropriate brand voice and tone
  • Flag urgent issues or escalations to clients immediately
  • Identify opportunities for meaningful interactions that strengthen brand loyalty
  • Handle negative feedback or complaints with professionalism and empathy

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track key performance metrics including reach, engagement, follower growth, and sentiment
  • Compile monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations
  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization
  • Present findings to clients in a clear, compelling manner

Operational Excellence

  • Make basic design edits on Canva for quick turnarounds or minor adjustments
  • Maintain organized documentation of content calendars, approvals, and client communications
  • Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices
  • Ensure brand guidelines and visual identity standards are consistently maintained

What We're Looking For

  • 2-4 years of proven experience managing social media for brands, preferably in an agency setting
  • Strong track record of client servicing and relationship management
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously without compromising quality
  • Hands-on experience shooting social media content (photos and videos)
  • Experience working with lifestyle, retail, or real estate brands is highly valued
  • Exceptional attention to detail - you notice what others miss
  • Outstanding organizational and time management abilities
  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proactive problem-solver who anticipates needs before they arise
  • Comfortable taking ownership and working independently
  • Natural relationship builder with strong interpersonal skills
  • Calm under pressure with the ability to handle crisis situations diplomatically
  • Good visual eye for content that performs well on social media
  • Basic photography or videography training
  • Experience with basic video editing apps (InShot, CapCut, etc.)

Work Schedule

Compensation
