Position Title:
Social Media and Marketing Coordinator
Location:
Microair India Office (Indore, Madhya Pradesh)
Reports to: Customer Engagement, Sales & Marketing Manager (Australia)
Flexible hours may sometimes be required for overlap with Australian team
Position Overview:
The Marketing and Customer Engagement Coordinator will support the company's digital
marketing, content creation, and customer engagement efforts across multiple platforms.
Operating remotely from the India office, the coordinator will work closely with the Customer
Engagement, Sales & Marketing Manager (CESMM) in Australia to ensure consistent
branding, messaging, timely content delivery, and effective customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media & Content
• Plan, create, and publish engaging campaigns and posts across Facebook,
YouTube, Mailchimp, TikTok and LinkedIn
• Maintain a content calendar aligned with marketing initiatives and tradeshows
• Monitor engagement metrics and provide insights to improve performance
Customer Engagement
• Respond to inquiries and direct or escalate technical queries as needed
• Engage with comments and relevant online communities to build brand presence
Tradeshow & Events
• Support sourcing of promotional items and event materials
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams on logistics and branding
• Assist with scheduling appointments for sales and engagement teams
Website & Digital Content
• Assist with the update of website content to reflect new products, media releases,
manuals, and other relevant materials
• Assist with WordPress and WooCommerce updates – where appropriate
• Apply SEO practices to improve visibility of website and blog content
Customer Engagement
• Respond to customer inquiries on social platforms and escalate technical or complex
queries to internal teams
• Engage with relevant online communities to build brand presence
Content Writing & Documentation
• Support content writing for user manuals, product descriptions, and marketing
materials
• Assist with editing and proofreading for clarity, tone, and accuracy
• Write content in simplified English suitable for both promotional and technical use
Tradeshow & Event Support
• Support sourcing of promotional items and event materials
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams on logistics and branding
• Assist with scheduling customer appointments for Customer Engagement teams
• Assist with CRM database updates and customer communication as required
Graphic Design & Asset Management
• Use Canva and other tools to create visual content for social media, EDMs, and
marketing collateral
• Maintain a library of marketing assets (images, videos, templates, documents) and
ensure brand consistency across assets
Analytics & Reporting
• Track and report on social media performance (engagement, reach, conversions)
• Monitor website traffic and EDM campaign metrics (open rates, click-through rates)
• Provide monthly performance summaries and recommendations for improvement
Competitor & Industry Monitoring
• Monitor competitor marketing activity and industry trends
• Share insights with the team to inform strategy and content planning
Skills & Qualifications
Essential:
• 5+ years experience in digital marketing and content writing
• Advanced English with strong writing and editing skills
• Familiarity with social media platforms and their back-end tools for best practice
management
• Proficiency in Canva and basic graphic design principles
• Ability to work autonomously and manage tasks independently
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Capacity to learn a new industry and adapt content accordingly
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Desirable:
• Experience writing or assisting with technical documentation (e.g., user manuals)
• Experience with Mailchimp or similar EDM tools
• Experience with WordPress and WooCommerce is an advantage
• Basic video editing skills
