Roles & Responsibilites

This is not a typical social media job.

You'll work closely with the founder and help build HomeGuru's entire content and social presence from the ground up.

We're an early-stage startup, so in the beginning, you'll do a bit of everything — thinking ideas, creating content, editing, posting, testing what works.

As we grow, you won't just execute - you'll build and lead the team.

What you'll do:

  • Create reels, videos, and content that people actually stop and watch
  • Handle Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube end-to-end
  • Plan content, shoot, edit, and publish — full ownership
  • Experiment with trends, hooks, formats, and AI tools
  • Track performance and improve content based on what works
  • Work directly with the founder on ideas and growth

What we're looking for:

  • Fresher or experienced — both work
  • Strong interest in content, reels, and storytelling
  • Good editing skills (any tools + AI is a big plus)
  • Someone who takes ownership, not just instructions
  • Consistent, hungry, and thinking long-term

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Social Media Management, Social Media Marketing, and Analytics
  • Experience in Content Writing, Creative Writing, and Storytelling
  • Strong knowledge of Video Editing, Graphic Design, and Visual Storytelling
  • Understanding of Engagement Strategies and Digital Trends
  • Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and creative problem-solving abilities
  • Basic knowledge of SEO concepts is advantageous
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia, or a related field is preferred/ Freshers also Welcome
