Job Position: SOC Analyst
Experience: 2+ Years
Location: Gurgaon
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Review and triage information security alerts, provide analysis, determine and track remediation, and escalate as appropriate.
Maintain detailed records of security alerts and incidents, including timelines, actions taken, and resolutions, ensuring they are fully documented.
Perform incident response within the area of responsibility.
Proactive Threat Monitoring: Continuously monitor security dashboards and tools for suspicious activities and unusual patterns.
Incorporate threat intelligence feeds into daily analysis to identify patterns related to known threats.
Ensure authorized access by investigating improper access, revoking access, reporting violations, and monitoring information requests.
Investigate and research improvements on existing workflows to improve efficiency.
May perform other duties as assigned including work in other areas to cover absences or relief to equalize peak work periods or otherwise balance the workload.
Education And Experience
Associate's degree in Engineering, InfoSec, or Computer Science.
Bachelor's degree in Engineers, InfoSec or Computer Science.
Background in delivering projects in a timely fashion.
1+ years of work experience in a SOC environment
CISSP Certification is a plus.
Practical experience with deployment and/or operation of commonly used information security solutions
Knowledge of current security threats, techniques, and landscape.
Practical experience in security incident response and digital forensics is an asset
Scripting in one of the common scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShellrole) is an asset
