Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 7 to 12 years of experience to join our team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Snowpark Python Snowflake Tasks Snowflake Streams Snowflake SQL and Snowpipe. This role involves developing and optimizing data solutions to enhance business processes and drive innovation. The position offers a day shift schedule with no travel requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data solutions using Snowpark to optimize business processes and drive innovation.
- Utilize Python to create efficient scripts and applications that enhance data processing capabilities.
- Manage and execute Snowflake Tasks to automate data workflows and improve system efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain Snowflake Streams to ensure real-time data processing and accuracy.
- Write and optimize Snowflake SQL queries to support data analysis and reporting needs.
- Implement Snowpipe to streamline data ingestion processes and ensure timely data availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers to foster skill development and project success.
- Ensure data security and compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Snowflake and associated technologies.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing data solutions to enhance performance and scalability.
- Document technical specifications and processes to support knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Snowflake and related technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Possess a strong background in Snowpark and Python essential for developing robust data solutions.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Snowflake Tasks and Streams crucial for automating and managing data workflows.
- Exhibit expertise in Snowflake SQL and Snowpipe necessary for optimizing data queries and ingestion processes.
- Have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in data development and management.
- Show a commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends and technologies.
