Snowflake Developer

About Position:

We are looking for a highly experienced Snowflake Developer with 10+ years of overall IT experience and strong expertise in building scalable data warehouse solutions on Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT pipelines, cloud integration, and performance optimization.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data warehouse solutions for large-scale data processing
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake, Python, and cloud-native tools
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data models for analytics and reporting
• Implement data ingestion strategies using SNOWPIPE, COPY commands, external/internal stages
• Work with semi-structured data (JSON, CSV, Parquet) and optimize transformation processes
• Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and cost optimization within Snowflake

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Advanced SQL (joins, analytical functions, optimization)
• ETL/ELT processes and data modeling (Star/Snowflake schema)
• Proficiency in Python / scripting for data processing
• Experience with cloud ecosystems (Azure Data Factory / AWS S3 / GCP)
• Strong understanding of:
• Snowflake architecture (Virtual Warehouses, Databases, Schema)
• Security (RBAC, data masking, encryption)
• Data ingestion & pipeline orchestration
• Experience in handling large-scale structured & unstructured datasets
• Exposure to performance tuning and cost optimization strategies
