We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and be proficient in designing and maintaining data pipelines using Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements.
• Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity.
• Implement data security and compliance measures as per company policies.
• Support data integration from various sources into Snowflake.
• Conduct performance tuning and query optimization for Snowflake databases.

Skills and Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Proficient in Snowflake architecture and data warehousing concepts.
• Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and retrieval.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Apache NiFi, Talend, or Informatica.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services.
• Knowledge of Python or Java for data processing and automation.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
