Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain Snowflake SQL to support business requirements and product enhancements.
- Design and implement database schemas, tables, views, and stored procedures.
- Working knowledge with Streams, Task, Warehouse & JSON file formats
- Optimize Snowflake SQL queries and PL/SQL code for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions.
- Provide technical guidance to junior developers.
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and security policies.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends related to Snowflake SQL and database development.
- Participate in on-call rotation for off-hours support as needed.
Skillsets Required:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Snowflake/ SQL development.
- Proficiency in Oracle database technologies (Oracle 11g/12c/19c).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Oracle certification (e.g., Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate), Snowflake Certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of Python will be an added advantage.
