Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Process Engineer based in Kolkata. The SMT Process Engineer will be responsible for implementing and optimizing SMT production processes, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining equipment to ensure smooth operation. The role involves overseeing quality control measures, analyzing production data to ensure efficiency, collaborating with cross-functional teams, as well as preparing documentation and reports related to SMT procedures and performance.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in SMT process setup, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance
- Familiarity with quality control processes, process optimization methods, and production data analysis tools
- Understanding of manufacturing engineering principles and hands-on experience in a production environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- Previous experience in SMT processes or electronics manufacturing is preferred
- Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations within manufacturing environments
