SME Insurance Underwriter- Technomarketing

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and underwrite SME insurance products including Fire, Burglary, Marine, Engineering, Liability, and Miscellaneous policies.
• Work closely with the sales team to provide technical support in pitching and presenting insurance solutions to prospective and existing clients.
• Design customized insurance programs based on client risk profiles.
• Use digital and technical tools to prepare impactful proposals, comparisons, and presentations. Liaise with insurers for competitive quotes, terms, and underwriting approvals.
• Ensure all underwriting activities comply with IRDAI guidelines and company processes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and industry stakeholders.
• Support business expansion through knowledge-driven marketing and technical presentations.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 36 years of experience in Commercial Lines / SME insurance underwriting.
• Strong knowledge of EB & Non-EB products.
• Proficiency in insurance portals, quoting tools, and presentation software.
• Excellent communication and client engagement skills.
• Ability to translate technical insurance concepts into clear, client-friendly proposals.
• Strong network within the insurance industry.
