Job Description

Job responsibilities:

  • Work with GM – Assessments and Curriculum Support and multiple Deputy Managers and Assistant Managers in creating assessment blueprints, question papers, and answer keys for Commerce subjects (Business Studies, Accountancy, Economics).
  • Lead academic design and curriculum support initiatives across the network schools, ensuring alignment with CBSE guidelines and best pedagogical practices.
  • Develop and deliver teacher training workshops on curriculum implementation, assessment strategies, and integration, of technology in classrooms.
  • Collaborate with the Publishing team to create, review, edit, and proofread K–12 Commerce content, ensuring high-quality and error-free educational material.
  • Manage the products and publishing portfolio, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with academic and market needs.
  • Drive Benchmark Assessment programs, including SOP creation, framework design, teacher modules, and training execution.
  • Oversee LMS content management and backend operations, ensuring seamless content delivery, updates, and technical support to schools.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, subject matter experts, and partners for content development, training delivery, and project execution.
  • Work with Senior Manager – Publishing and effectively deliver the best quality print and/or digital product(s) within agreed timeline.
  • Design and deliver great user experiences: Manage, monitor and improve the user experience for digital content and product(s).
  • Support DGM – Digital Initiatives in creating short pedagogical videos /assessments/ instructional material on regular basis to help teachers in school.
  • Collaborate and work with GM – Assessments and Curriculum Support and DGM – School Support to support the schools with required subject training and additional support material for subjects.
  • Plan, develop, prioritise, implement, and oversee the processes ensuring that products / solutions are published / released within set deadlines, as per scope, according to budget and are of the highest quality.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Publishing work delivered within agreed timelines.
  • Successful implementation of Benchmark Assessments across schools within agreed timelines.
  • Zero major conceptual or factual error in question papers designed for students.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in commerce / business studies / economics (preferred)
  • Mix of language proficiency (verbal and written), deep pedagogical understanding, subject specialisation and business acumen.
  • Working knowledge of appropriate AI-tools to increase work efficiency.
  • 5+ years of work experience; of which at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in pedagogy and curriculum for middle and senior grades (Grades 6 to 12).
  • Desirable to have experience in Instructional Design.
  • Ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders such as school promoters, school principals, authors, illustrators, trainers, teachers, and other solution providers.
  • Organised and process driven, and ability to work across timelines and cross-functional teams.
  • Team / Stakeholder management and interpersonal skills to lead, inspire collaboration and empower team.
  • Have strong project management skills.
