SLP Specialist - CMRS (Centralized Monitoring and Response System) position serves as operational resource to support the Security Command Center. This position will act as a shift in charge and provide support and accountability for the overall deliverables of the command center. The control room will be functional 24/7, hence this position will require to work in shift and during weekends.
About CMRS
Centralized Monitoring & Response System (CMRS) is designed to replace mitigating physical/manual controls against identified risks associated with People, Assets and Information of Amazon operations in India. CMRS involves a series of video surveillance, two-way voice enabled control and contact/pressure sensors linked controls which are capable of replacing man guarding based controls through alarms and emergency response at Amazon. These devices are connected to a Control Room that is able to receive real time alerts, duress alarms and monitor critical process paths otherwise conducted manually by guards deployed at stations.
Key job responsibilities
Responsible for providing comprehensive program security guidance concerning personnel, physical, operational, technical and information security issues
. Track the deliverables of the CMRS team, work closely with the third party team and provide feedback.
. Create, implement, communicate, and manage security requirements while providing day-to-day multi-discipline security operations support.
. Proactively identify physical security requirements, problems, and sound solutions to successfully sustain and enhance the security of program execution
. Must be willing to share on-call rotations in support of alarms, security incidents, and critical service outages.
. Enhance, track, and report on metrics which are key performance indicators, allowing performance improvements so that the desired outcomes are achieved to plan and in a timely manner
. Effectively partner with internal customers in evaluating current and future security services, processes and initiatives
. Coordinate data collection, through database polling or data entry, from multiple FCs and conduct analysis generating strategic and tactical interpretations
. Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, documentation
. Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on all key CMRS goals and metrics
. Maintain standard operating procedures, emergency response procedures, and preventive maintenance programs.
Reviewing incident reports, and providing updates and recommended actions to management.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- University degree or equivalent through experience and professional certification . A minimum of 7-10 years in Security and Loss prevention role, law enforcement or security-related profession . Extensive and up to date knowledge of Shrink Management and Data Analysis . Experience in managing or coordinating security investigations of complex nature . Knowledge of information security processes and systems . Experience in security auditing
- Loss Prevention experience . Investigation/Security related certification . Emergency Response / Crisis Management certification . Training & Development experience .
