Responsibilities
Job Description
- Oversee and manage all on-site aspects of solar project installations, including structure erection, civil and electrical work.
- Ensure project milestones are met and adhere to approved budgets and timelines.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth execution of projects.
- Implement and enforce strict safety standards and protocols on the job site.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with project specifications.
- Manage and resolve any on-site issues or discrepancies that arise during the construction phase.
- Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders to ensure all required permits and approvals are obtained and maintained.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status, challenges, and progress.
- Supervise, motivate, and evaluate site workers and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
- Participate in project planning and review meetings to provide insights and updates from the construction site.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related fields.
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in solar projects or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, solar installations, and civil works.
- Familiarity with construction management software and project management tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
