Site Supervisor

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Site Supervisor role based in Chennai. The Site Supervisor will oversee day-to-day execution of interior and furniture installation projects, ensuring work is completed on schedule, within scope, and to Brownspell's quality standards. Responsibilities include coordinating with designers, craftsmen, and vendors; supervising site teams; and monitoring adherence to design specifications, safety guidelines, and project timelines. The role involves conducting regular site inspections, resolving on-site issues, managing material availability, and providing clear progress updates to project managers and clients as needed. The Site Supervisor will also support handover activities, including final quality checks and documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong site supervision skills, including daily coordination of teams, monitoring work progress, and enforcing quality and safety standards.
• Experience managing interior fit-out, furniture installation, or construction projects, with the ability to interpret drawings and design specifications.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with designers, craftspeople, vendors, and clients on-site.
• Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple sites or phases, and meet deadlines.
• Basic proficiency in project documentation, reporting site progress, and using digital tools or apps for updates and coordination.
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and local regulations related to on-site work.
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in residential or commercial interior projects in Chennai or similar markets is an advantage.
