Role Overview
This is a hands-on SRE role focused on ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of cloud and network systems by automating routine manual tasks. The role requires strong software engineering experience, particularly in Java or Python, with SRE implementation exposure.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to implement critical solutions through automation of routine tasks.
- Monitor and manage production environments, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Develop advanced tooling for system access monitoring, log session recording, and administration of reliability across multiple data centers.
- Work with engineering teams to improve on-call efficiency, incident management, and post-mortem analysis.
- Perform capacity planning and optimization to support growing demands and traffic patterns.
- Maintain, monitor, and alert on system health proactively.
- Continuously enhance system performance, stability, and security through data-driven analysis and optimization.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing by creating and maintaining documentation and system diagrams.
- Utilize Dynatrace, GCP, monitoring tools, automation, and testing effectively.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in software engineering (Java / Python) 4+ years
- Full Stack development knowledge
- Experience with Dynatrace, GCP, monitoring, automation, and testing
- Familiarity with APIs and front-end development
Preferred Skills
- AI, System Design, DevOps
- Application support experience
- Exposure to AI Ops, Observability, Cloud Engineering
Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years of IT experience, with at least 4 years in software development (Java/Python)
- Prior exposure to SRE principles and automation
Education Required
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
