Job Description
We are hiring a Senior Site Reliability / Infrastructure Automation Engineer for a 1‑year contractual role to lead automation, reliability, and infrastructure‑as‑code initiatives across enterprise data‑center platforms. The role involves close collaboration with Infrastructure, Operations, and Security teams to build scalable, repeatable, and resilient infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive infrastructure automation strategy across compute, storage, and backup platforms
- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management
- Build and maintain version‑controlled infrastructure code repositories
- Develop reusable IaC modules and templates
- Embed reliability, resiliency, and compliance into infrastructure designs
- Collaborate with Infra, Ops, Security, and DevOps teams
- Lead and mentor engineers; act as a technical SME
- Track and report automation outcomes and efficiencies
Must‑Have Skills
- Infrastructure Automation & Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python)
- Linux & Windows System Administration
- Data Center Infrastructure – Compute, Storage, Backup
- CI/CD & Orchestration – Git, GitLab, Jenkins, RunDeck
- Reliability Engineering / SRE practices
- Technical leadership and mentoring experience
Good to Have
- VMware / Nutanix / Citrix
- Enterprise Storage: Dell EMC, Pure, Unity, VNX, PowerStore
- Backup tools: Veeam, Commvault, Veritas, Rubrik, Cohesity
- Secrets Management (Vault / CyberArk)
- Experience with M&A infrastructure integration
