Job Description

This Network Automation Architect role focuses on the convergence of high-scale Data Center engineering and software-defined automation. In this position, you will lead the evolution of physical and virtual infrastructure into a programmable, self-service platform.

Job Title: Senior Network Automation Architect (Data Center & NetDevOps)

Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary Architect to drive the digital transformation of our global Data Center footprint. You will be responsible for designing resilient, high-capacity network fabrics while simultaneously building the Python and Ansible frameworks that manage them. Your goal is to eliminate manual configuration, reduce configuration drift, and implement a full Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) lifecycle for our core infrastructure.

Core Responsibilities

  • Data Center Fabric Design: Architect and evolve high-performance Data Center networks using Spine-Leaf topologies, VXLAN-EVPN overlays, and Multi-Protocol BGP (MP-BGP).
  • Automation Framework Development: Build and maintain robust automation libraries using Python (utilizing Nornir, Netmiko, or Scrapli) and Ansible to automate complex network deployments and lifecycle management.
  • Source of Truth Integration: Design and manage a centralized Source of Truth (e.g., NetBox or Nautobot) to drive data-centric automation workflows.
  • NetDevOps Pipeline Management: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines (via GitLab CI or GitHub Actions) for automated testing, linting, and deployment of network configurations.
  • Hybrid Cloud Connectivity: Architect seamless, automated connectivity between on-premises Data Centers and public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Standardization & Governance: Develop Golden Config templates and enforcement policies to ensure security compliance and operational consistency across the global estate.
  • Technical Requirements
