Job Description

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve AWS-based infrastructure with a focus on stability, scalability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot production issues, improve system reliability, and work closely with engineering teams to deliver stable releases.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS) to manage containerized applications and services.
• Drive cloud cost optimization efforts and support infrastructure migration/modernization projects.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Buildkite to streamline deployments and developer workflows.
• Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using Ansible and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Set up and manage monitoring, alerting, and observability using Datadog.
• Support data platform infrastructure and ensure high availability across environments.

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of Strong experience with AWS, Networking, EKS/Kubernetes, Docker, Buildkite(CI/CD), Ansible(IaC), and Datadog.
• Someone who is proactive, takes initiative, and can work independently with minimal supervision.
• Solid understanding of SRE best practices in production environments.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with an automation-first mindset.
• A self-starter who takes ownership, follows through, and works well in fast-moving environments.
• Thinks holistically about systems, with a strong focus on reliability, stability, and long-term maintainability.
