Job Description

Collaborate with the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team to ensure shared full stack ownership of assigned services and technology areas.
Understand and manage the end-to-end configuration, dependencies, and behavioral characteristics of production services.
Design, deliver, and maintain mission-critical infrastructure with a strong emphasis on security, resiliency, scalability, and performance.
Serve as the authority for end-to-end service performance, availability, and operability.
Partner with development teams to define and implement improvements in service architecture and reliability.
Guide engineering teams in adding and optimizing capabilities within Oracle Cloud's service portfolio.
Understand and communicate key attributes such as scale, capacity, performance, and security across service and technology stacks.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of automation and orchestration principles to enhance operational efficiency.
Act as the final escalation point for critical or undocumented issues, defining new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed.
Apply knowledge of service topologies and interdependencies to troubleshoot and mitigate complex production issues.
Evaluate and explain the impact of architectural decisions on distributed systems and overall service health.
Exhibit professional curiosity and continuously develop a deep technical understanding of underlying services and technologies.
