Your Role And Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to supervise and coordinate the work of internal and external resources and equipment technical specialists during on-site installation/construction activities related to the assigned discipline. Each day, you will ensure cost-effective execution of project deliverables in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations, standards, and contractual requirement.

This role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation in Bangalore, India.
You Will Be Mainly Accountable For
- Handle installation and commissioning activities in Paint shop.
- Manage and operate ABB Paint robots. Should manage different vendors onsite.
- Read and interpret layout and detail drawings accurately.
- Ensure compliance with Tier-1/OEM design standards and automotive manufacturing processes. Work on paint line processes.
- Lead the team at the customer site with awareness of pneumatics, sensors, and other integration elements, ensuring effective communication and execution.
Qualifications For The Role
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- 612 years of relevant experience in paint shop installation and commissioning within Automotive OEMs, Tier-1s, or line builder environments.
- Strong knowledge of paint line processes, and its layout design and familiarity with pneumatics, sensors, and automation elements.
- Responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all on-site activities at customer locations.
- Ensure all projects are executed safely by adhering to TBT, JSA, PTA, and 5S practices at the workplace.
- Maintain day-to-day communication with customers on project progress and escalate issues promptly to internal and external stakeholders as required.
- Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports with customers and relevant stakeholders.
- Act as an interface between the customer and internal teams to prioritize activities as per the project plan.
- Lead and align work leads (Robot, Controls, and Technical leads) for daily activities, ensuring quality workmanship from third parties.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors (design houses, manufacturing partners, and bought-out parts suppliers) and be willing to travel across India for site execution and commissioning.
