Job Description

Position: Site Manager

Department: Projects / Operations

Reporting To: Project Manager / Project Director

Role Purpose:
The Site Manager shall be responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and managing day-to-day construction activities to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all site construction activities.
• Ensure execution of works as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
• Manage site manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Review construction methodologies and resolve technical issues arising during execution.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor work quality.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Support project planning, billing, measurement verification, and documentation activities.
• Ensure proper implementation of environmental, health, and safety requirements at site.
• Maintain effective communication among all project teams and stakeholders.

Educational Qualification:

• Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech Civil Engineering).

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in similar work environments.
• Experience in construction project execution and site management.
• Experience in supervising construction activities, manpower, and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of project planning, quality control, and safety management.
• Experience in infrastructure, building, road, bridge, slope stabilization, or related civil engineering projects will be preferred.
