Primary Role:
To oversee on-site execution of architectural and interior design projects, ensuring plans are implemented accurately, safely, and efficiently while maintaining quality standards and coordinating with contractors and consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Site Supervision
- Monitor day-to-day site activities to ensure work is progressing as per design drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and laborers to ensure smooth execution.
- Ensure proper sequencing of tasks and efficient use of resources on-site.
2. Quality Control
- Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with approved drawings, samples, and standards.
- Conduct quality checks at various stages of construction or fit-outs.
- Report defects or deviations and take corrective action as needed.
3. Coordination with Design and Project Teams
- Act as a bridge between the design office and the site team.
- Interpret architectural drawings and communicate details to site workers and contractors.
- Ensure design intent is maintained throughout execution.
4. Progress Tracking and Reporting
- Maintain daily or weekly site reports documenting work status, manpower, deliveries, and issues.
- Update the project manager and architects on site progress and timelines.
- Highlight delays or bottlenecks and suggest corrective measures.
5. Vendor and Material Management
- Coordinate the delivery and usage of materials and equipment on-site.
- Verify quantities and quality of materials received.Ensure proper storage and handling to avoid damage or wastage.
6. Health & Safety Compliance
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure workers follow site safety regulations.
- Report incidents or hazards and coordinate with relevant authorities to resolve them.
- Conduct regular safety checks and briefings.
7. Technical Support
- Assist in resolving technical issues that arise during construction.
- Provide layout markings, level setting, and site measurements.
- Ensure site work aligns with structural, electrical, plumbing, and finishing plans.
8. Documentation and Records
- Maintain documentation such as site drawings, approvals, inspection records, and contractor bills.
- Track material usage, site instructions, and change orders.
- Support the billing and handover process by compiling necessary site data.
- Send site photos in respective groups at the start and end of day.
