Roles And Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Site Management & Material Approval
- Estimate material requirements, obtain Client approvals, and manage site procurement status.
- Ensure site work adheres to drawings, BOQ, and project specifications.
- Project Coordination & Communication
- Collaborate with clients, design teams, project managers, and vendors to align project goals.
- Attend client review meetings to present project progress and address concerns.
- Regularly interact with contractors supervisors and document daily site activities.
- Execution & Manpower Management
- Interpret and implement Good for construction drawings (Specific to piping) effectively on-site.
- Manage manpower resources independently to achieve targets and maintain quality.
- Enforce quality control measures and maintain safety standards throughout the project.
- Installation & Commissioning of Mechanical piping works Systems
- Execute independent installation activities for complete piping works.
- Commission Clean as well as black utility equipment, Clean, Black utility piping works, Fire protection system works etc.
- Coordinate with other discipline contractors to eliminate any clashes for smooth completion of the project.
- Drawing Review & Documentation
- Detail review of clean, Black utility drawings, fire system drawings, racking system layouts, process drain, condensate drain, AHU drain system drawings.
- Can assist the contractor to prepare as-built drawings and obtain client approvals as necessary.
- Ensure compliance of all relevant guidelines with respect to installation.
- Equipment Coordination & Technical Problem Solving
- Coordinate with equipment suppliers/vendors to troubleshoot design and installation issues.
- Technical Proficiency
- Basic knowledge of piping installation work, Pre-commissioning, and post-commissioning activities
- Basic knowledge of IQ, OQ, PQ of utility equipment.
