We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our esteemed Interior Design firm, part of a 74-year-old group in India. The ideal candidate will have 2-10 years of experience in overseeing construction projects, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities for interior design projects.
- Coordinate with architects, designers, and subcontractors to ensure design specifications are met.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Assist in the preparation of project schedules and budgets.
- Monitor project progress and report any issues or delays to management.
- Ensure materials and resources are available on-site as per project requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, incidents, and changes.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
- 2-10 years of experience in site engineering or project management in interior design or construction.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
