Job Title: Site Engineer

Department: Operations

Reporting: Project Manager

Minimum Work Experience: 2–3 years of relevant experience.  

Experience in greenhouse site management, PEB structures, and building construction or related fields is preferred.

Minimum Education Required: Graduate in Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field

Role Description

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Site Engineer to manage and execute site activities efficiently. The candidate should have hands-on experience in greenhouse projects, PEB structures, and construction site management, ensuring timely completion and quality standards. 

Key responsibility

Manage and supervise day-to-day site activities. • Execute work as per drawings, specifications, and project timeline. • Handle greenhouse project execution and PEB structure installation. • Conduct site surveying and levelling work accurately. • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams. • Ensure proper material usage and avoid wastage at the site. • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. • Monitor quality and safety standards at the site. • Identify and resolve site challenges on time. 

Skills required

Strong knowledge of site execution and construction practices. • Basic understanding of surveying and levelling. • Good communication and reporting skills. • Ability to manage manpower and site operations effectively. 

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering principles.
  • Proficiency with Quality Control processes and implementing quality assurance measures during project phases.
  • Practical experience working on-site, including resolving technical issues and collaborating effectively with teams.
  • Excellent Communication skills for stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination.
  • Additional relevant skills such as familiarity with agricultural engineering, project management certifications, and knowledge of sustainable farming practices are a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote team environment and manage multiple priorities.
