Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Site Engineer based in Chennai. The Site Engineer will oversee on-site construction activities, ensure quality control, and manage the execution of structural and civil engineering projects. They will coordinate with contractors, monitor project progress, and ensure that all tasks meet the required standards and timelines. Responsibilities also include effective communication with both the technical team and clients, as well as ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in managing on-site construction activities and ensuring timely project delivery.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with team members, contractors, and clients.
- Strong understanding of quality control and experience in executing projects that meet high standards.
- Background in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering with practical hands-on experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, construction best practices, and relevant tools and technologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and manage skilled labor efficiently.
- Prior experience in interior construction projects, particularly for commercial and residential spaces, is a plus.
