Your problem-solving skills will contribute to develop models for multiple simulation tools used for power system studies, a key element to provide sustainable grids for the future.
How you'll make an impact:
You will be responsible for development of models for simulation tools used for power system studies, responsible for virtual representation of real control and protection system.
You will participate in process development and provide internal as well as external engineering support.
You will be responsible for Verification studies with focus on dynamic performance.
You will model structure and internal code module definitions.
Simulation program interface, tool and process development.
You will be supporting projects and tenders for HVDC System Design and interact with both internal and external stakeholders in those areas.
You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:
You should have Master of Engineering - Power System (2 to 10 years experience)/ PhD - Power System (1 to 5 years experience).
Extensive knowledge of Power Systems studies and modelling of electrical network, understanding and design of Electrical Power Systems and controls.
Preferably knowledge on IEC/IEEE standards, understanding application of Power Electronics in HV/EHV system like HVDC and FACTS is preferred.
Proven skills in using computers as a calculation tool.
Preferably experience of power system simulation tools such as PSSE, EMTDC /PSCAD and calculations in Matlab/ Mathcad.
Extensive knowledge of Power Systems equipment and their purpose, such as Power Transformers, Capacitors, Reactors, Instrument Transformer and measuring equipment, Circuit Breakers, Disconnector, Surge Arrester etc.
Knowledge in selection, sizing and integration of above equipment based on customer functional specification.
Strong interpersonal and communication skill, fluency in English.
