Silicone R&D Executive

*Job Summary:*

We are looking for a skilled and innovative Silicone R&D Executive to develop, test, and optimize silicone compounds and products as per customer and industry requirements. The candidate will support new product development, improve existing formulations, and ensure quality consistency from lab to production.

*Key Responsibilities:*

*1. Silicone Compound Development*

• Develop and modify silicone rubber formulations based on application requirements

• Work on HTV, RTV, and LSR silicone compounds

• Improve mechanical, thermal, and chemical properties of silicone products

*2. Testing & Validation*

• Conduct lab trials and maintain proper documentation

• Test properties like hardness, tensile strength, elongation, heat resistance, etc.

• Analyze test results and suggest improvements

*3. Production Support*

• Support production team in batch trials and scale-up activities

• Ensure consistency between lab samples and bulk production

• Troubleshoot processing issues in molding and extrusion

*4. Documentation & Compliance*

• Maintain R&D records, formulations, and test reports

• Follow quality standards and safety norms

• Assist in audits and technical documentation

*5. Customer & New Development*

• Work on customer-specific product development

• Coordinate with sales and production teams for new projects

• Develop samples as per client requirements

*Required Skills:*

• Knowledge of silicone rubber materials and processing

• Understanding of molding, extrusion, and curing processes

• Basic knowledge of testing instruments and lab procedures

• Problem-solving and analytical skills

• Good communication and teamwork

*Qualification:*

• Diploma / B.Tech in Polymer / Rubber Technology

*Experience:*

• 3 to 10 years in silicone or rubber R&D

*Preferred* :

• Experience in HTV / LSR silicone

• Knowledge of automotive / electrical / food-grade silicone products

*Salary:*
