SILICON DESIGN ENGINEER 2

THE ROLE:

The AMDVerification Methodology and Technology (VMT) team delivers verification methodology and technology for all AMD teams and products. Team member will be working with global teams on the SoC integration methodologies and IP deliverables for a seamless integration at SOC.

THE PERSON:

You have a passion for modern, complex processor architecture, digital design, and verification in general. You are a team player who has excellent communication skills. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are willing to learn and ready to take on problems.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assume technical responsibilities and hands-on technical role responsible for providing SoC integration methodologies in the hardware design verification space. The following is a list of key responsibilities that the candidate will assume:

• Good knowledge of Verilog, System Verilog VHDL knowledge a plus
• Good debugging skills with VCS/Verdi
• Understanding of UVM based random environment preferred
• Strong understanding of digital electronic design and design verification processes
• Versatility in verification methodologies as well as knowledge of industry standard tools for DV, VIPs, etc. expected
• Knowledge of Verilog, C/C++, Perl/Python/Ruby, tcl and other scripting languages
• Understanding of SOC infrastructure anb verification methodologies at SOC

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelorsor Masters degree in computer engineering/Electrical Engineering
