Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end implementation of Siemens Opcenter Discrete MES solutions.
- Design and define MES solution architecture and techno-functional workflows.
- Work on Opcenter Discrete modules including Opcenter EX FN, APS, MOM Connect, and IPL.
- Manage MES upgrades, enhancements, and production rollout activities.
- Define and support integrations between Opcenter and systems such as ERP, LIMS, equipment, and HMI.
- Support Opcenter customization, extensions, and development activities.
- Enable OPC-UA integrations and support PLC/SCADA connectivity where applicable.
- Apply computer system validation processes to ensure compliance and quality standards.
- Use SQL and .NET technologies for integration and customization requirements.
- Collaborate with governance, assurance, and delivery teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Coordinate with manufacturing sites and digital manufacturing teams for process improvements.
- Mentor technical teams and support stakeholder and customer management activities.
Skills Required:
- Strong experience with Siemens Opcenter Discrete MES platform.
- Hands-on experience with Opcenter EX FN, APS, MOM Connect, and IPL modules.
- Good understanding of MES architecture, manufacturing operations, and digital manufacturing processes.
- Experience integrating MES with ERP, LIMS, HMI, equipment, and shop-floor systems.
- Familiarity with OPC-UA, PLC, and SCADA integrations.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and .NET technologies.
- Experience with MES upgrades, customization, and extensions.
- Understanding of computer system validation and compliance processes.
- Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies is an added advantage.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
Education:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Master's Degree in Engineering / Computer Science.
