Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture and design initiatives for Siemens Opcenter Discrete manufacturing implementations.
- Collaborate with customer stakeholders to design solutions based on the Siemens Opcenter MOM platform.
- Perform techno-functional analysis, impact assessments, and fit-gap analysis for complex manufacturing business requirements.
- Provide product and technical guidance to teams on Siemens Opcenter applications and discrete manufacturing modules.
- Lead requirement gathering workshops, solution blueprinting, and integration planning across MES and external enterprise systems.
- Support MES upgrades, customizations, and platform extensions while ensuring quality and compliance of deliverables.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and manufacturing sites to align digital manufacturing solutions with shop-floor operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing processes, operational efficiency, and system optimization.
- Mentor and train associates on Opcenter solutions, manufacturing workflows, and best practices.
- Lead end-to-end project execution including planning, scheduling, governance, stakeholder coordination, and delivery management.
Skills Required:
- Strong hands-on experience with Siemens Opcenter Discrete and MOM platform solutions.
- Expertise in solution architecture, techno-functional analysis, and manufacturing systems implementation.
- Good understanding of discrete manufacturing processes and manufacturing engineering concepts.
- Experience conducting fit-gap analysis, impact assessments, and solution blueprinting activities.
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and integration with enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of MES upgrades, customization, extensions, and deployment best practices.
- Understanding of shop-floor operations, process optimization, and digital manufacturing transformation initiatives.
- Strong project management, governance, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, mentoring, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional and multi-site manufacturing technology programs.
Education: Bachelor in engineering / Master in Engineering / Master in Computer Science
