Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead design, architecture, and implementation of Siebel CRM systems to meet complex business requirements.
  • Work as a technical SME directly with customers for new implementations, upgrades, migrations, and managed services projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional global teams including business analysts, DBAs, system administrators, and QA teams for end-to-end delivery.
  • Handle critical issues, escalations, and production incidents, ensuring high availability and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee Siebel application installation, upgrade, patching, and migration activities (minimum 4 successful upgrade/migration projects on latest Siebel versions).
  • Support Siebel migration to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including containerization and orchestration with Kubernetes.
  • Manage and maintain Siebel application servers, WebLogic servers, and database environments.
  • Participate in business development and presales activities to support Siebel-based solution opportunities.
  • Work in a 24x7 production support model, including standby or scheduled after-hours support as required.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and encourage a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative team environment.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 15+ years of industry experience in Oracle Siebel CRM, including WebLogic and database administration.
  • Proven experience as a Siebel Architect with strong technical, leadership, and customer management skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Siebel installation, upgrade, patching, and migration (minimum 4 projects).
  • Expertise in Siebel to OCI / OCNA migration and Kubernetes-based deployments.
  • Strong background in Unix/Linux and Windows environments.
  • Experience in production support environments, working in 24x7 rotational shifts.
  • Strong problem-solving, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate in a globally distributed team environment.

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools (Python, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Cloud administration experience on OCI, Azure, or AWS.
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Siebel certifications.
  • Experience supporting standby or out-of-hours operations.
  • Familiarity with automation and performance optimization within cloud environments.
