SoftClouds are seeking a skilled Siebel Developer to design, customize, and enhance Siebel CRM applications, including integrations and workflow optimizations. The ideal candidate brings solid technical expertise in Siebel development, strong problem-solving abilities, and flexibility to travel to France on short notice for project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize Siebel applications using Siebel Tools, including business components, applets, views, and screens.
- Create and maintain Siebel scripts, business services, and integrations with external systems.
- Perform configuration changes, data modeling, and testing across development, staging, and production environments.
- Troubleshoot application issues, optimize performance, and support debugging for complex customizations.
- Collaborate with administrators, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in Proof of Concept (POC) development and full-scale implementations.
- Contribute to Siebel on Cloud migrations by adapting custom code and configurations.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for developments, customizations, and deployment processes.
- Provide on-call support and meet project SLAs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 36 years of hands-on experience in Siebel Development. Applicant must have expertise in UI/UX customization using OpenUI, Javascript and Oracle JET framework.
- Proficiency in Siebel Tools, eScript, Siebel VB, Workflow, and integration technologies (e.g., EAI, SOAP/Web Services).
- Strong understanding of Siebel architecture, data model, and customization best practices.
- Experience with Siebel upgrades, patching impacts on custom code, and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Oracle databases, SQL, and Unix/Linux scripting.
- Knowledge of Siebel IP versions, Siebel Open UI, and RESTful integrations.
- Exposure to Cloud or hybrid Siebel environments.
