Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Siebel Data Migration Consultant with strong expertise in Telecom domain projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Siebel EIM processes, data migration strategies, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute Siebel Data Migration (EIM) processes including Import, Export, Delete, and Merge.
- Lead and manage end-to-end data migration activities across projects.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze data migration requirements.
- Understand legacy systems and perform data mapping, transformation, and validation.
- Define and implement data migration strategies, plans, and frameworks.
- Identify risks, issues, and assumptions; proactively communicate and mitigate them.
- Work closely with technical architects, application designers, and business teams to ensure alignment.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and traceability throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Review and provide inputs for data migration plans, design documents, and deliverables.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in Siebel Data Migration using EIM.
- Proven experience in Telecom domain projects (mandatory).
- Solid understanding of Siebel Data Model and Data Flow.
- Hands-on expertise in SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience with ETL tools (preferably DataStage or similar).
- Strong knowledge of data mapping, data transformation, and validation techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Good to Have
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise migration projects.
- Exposure to data governance and quality frameworks.
- Familiarity with Agile/Waterfall project methodologies.
