We're a premium car fragrance brand scaling aggressively on Meta (Facebook/Instagram). We need a video editor who lives and breathes short-form performance creative not brand films, not YouTube content scroll-stopping paid ads that sell.
This is a remote, full-time role. We start with a 2-week paid trial to determine mutual fit before committing long-term.
What you'll do:
Edit 15-60 second direct response video ads daily. Work with AI-generated voiceovers, AI music, stock footage, UGC-style clips, and product shots. Build modular ad structures interchangeable hooks, bridges, hold sections, and CTAs. Create for Stories (10801920), Reels, and feed (4:5). Produce rapid iterations and variations for split testing. Research winning ads across niches study what's working, break down why, and bring those insights into our creative. Source footage, references, and visual ideas independently, don't wait to be spoon-fed assets.
You're right for this if you:
Understand that the first 3 seconds decide everything. Can match edit pacing to script rhythm know when to cut hard vs. let a frame breathe. Have a feel for what stops thumbs on Instagram, not what wins film festivals. Can turn around 3-5 ad variations per day without sacrificing quality. Proficient in professional editing software we don't care which tool, we care about output. Resourceful and curious you dig through ad libraries, competitor pages, and footage sources without being asked.
Compensation: 50,000/month base + performance incentives tied to ad metrics. Real growth path as we scale this isn't a dead-end edit chair.
