We are looking for a skilled Shopify Web Developer to manage and optimize our website while driving growth through strong on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, update, and optimize our Shopify website for performance, speed, and user experience
- Customize Shopify themes and implement new features as needed
- Manage on-page SEO: keyword optimization, meta tags, content structure, internal linking, and technical SEO improvements
- Execute off-page SEO strategies, including high-quality backlink creation and outreach
- Monitor website health, SEO performance, rankings, and traffic using analytics tools
- Identify and resolve technical SEO issues
- Collaborate with marketing/content teams to align SEO and business goals
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Shopify Web Developer
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify Liquid
- Solid understanding of SEO best practices (on-page & off-page)
- Hands-on experience with link-building and backlink strategies
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Nice to Have:
- Experience improving Core Web Vitals
- Knowledge of CRO (conversion rate optimization)
- E-commerce SEO experience in competitive markets
