Role Overview
We are looking for a Shopify Plus Expertwith strong hands-on experience in Shopify and Shopify Plus, including custom app developmentand managing multi-region Shopify stores. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and scaling high-performance Shopify Plus solutions tailored for global eCommerce operations.
Key Responsibilities
Shopify & Shopify Plus Development
- Design, develop, and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus storeswith high scalability and performance
- Implement Shopify Plusspecific featuressuch as Shopify Scripts, Flow, Launchpad, and advanced checkout customizations
- Customize themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptwhile following best practices
Custom App Development
- Develop custom Shopify apps (public/private/custom)using Shopify APIs (REST & GraphQL)
- Integrate third-party services (ERP, CRM, OMS, payment gateways, shipping providers, analytics tools, etc.)
- Handle app deployment, versioning, and ongoing maintenance
Multi-Region & International Stores
- Manage and optimise multi-region / multi-currency Shopify stores
- Implement region-specific pricing, taxes, shipping rules, and localisation
- Work with Shopify Markets and international storefront strategies
Performance, Security & Optimisation
- Optimise store performance, checkout flow, and conversion rates
- Ensure compliance with security standards and Shopify best practices
- Monitor and troubleshoot production issues
Collaboration & Architecture
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend teams
- Provide technical guidance on Shopify architecture and scalability
- Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions
