Role Overview
The Shopify Tech Lead will play a crucial role in leading a team of developers while ensuring timely delivery of high-quality Shopify solutions. The role demands expertise in both Shopify Theme and App development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Shopify developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other stakeholders to define project scope and timelines.
- Develop custom Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Design and build custom Shopify apps to extend platform functionality.
- Ensure code quality through regular reviews, testing, and debugging.
- Optimize Shopify stores for speed, SEO, and user experience.
- Manage third-party integrations with ERPs, CRMs, and marketing platforms.
- Stay updated with Shopify's evolving ecosystem and introduce new solutions to improve business outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of Shopify development experience with deep knowledge of Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Expertise in Shopify API integrations, including REST and GraphQL.
- Proficiency in app development using Node.js, React.js, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with Shopify Plus, Online Store 2.0, and Hydrogen is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage project timelines.
- Excellent communication skills with experience in client interactions.
